Smart Dental is continually seeking out the best of new technology to ensure the most up to date services are available to our patients. Technology in the dental market place has changed rapidly over the past few years.
With this in mind, Dr Jason Pireh is pleased to introduce Smart Dental's newly installed Kodak 9000 3D extraoral imaging system in our West Pennant Hills surgery. This new system enables our patients to continue to receive accessible panoramic imaging technology, with the additional option of taking a 3D image where required to view anatomically correct images onscreen in a matter of minutes.
This 3D technology is useful for the diagnosis and assessment of wisdom teeth, root canal treatment, position of nerves in the jaw, fractures in teeth, as well as bone density for implant placement. The 3D imaging system provides a true to life size image for ease of viewing and measurements.
